Faithful Few

"The Faithful Few" is the small but mighty youth group of Faith Presbyterian Church, open to youth in grades 6 - 12. Our goal is to strengthen our faith through service, fellowship and fun.

Activities for 2012:

Outreach projects for 2012 are the Ronald McDonald House, Operation Christmas Child and the Souper Bowl of Caring.

The Ronald McDonald House project will be year-long. We will be asking the congregation for a certain donation of the month.

• January - Tissues in the cube box
• February - Pop Tarts
• March - Disinfecting wipes
• April - Toothbrushes
• May - Heavy duty paper plates
• June, July, August - Trash bags and styrofoam bowls

February 5, 2012 - Outreach project - Souper Bowl of Caring: On Sunday, Feb 5th, 140 million Americans will tune in to the Super Bowl football game. There will be parties with abundant food, friendship and fellowship. At the same time, there will be people worrying about staying warm, finding shelter and a warm meal. We will join with other young people around the country as they demonstrate God's love by loving their neighbors through the Souper Bowl of Caring. We will ask the members of the congregation to drop $1 or more in the soup pot when they leave worship on February 5th. The donations will go to support our local FISH food pantry.

February 17, 2012 - 7:00 pm Casting Crowns concert at Hobart Arena. Meet at the church at 5:45 pm to carpool.

March 2012

March 18, 2012 - Laser tag; depart from church after worship service.

April 2012

(June, July, August) - We will go to the Wilds in Zanesville, Ohio. Potential overnight activity.
