FISH Food Pantry

The Huber Heights FISH Food Pantry has been serving the needy of Huber Heights since 1969. Hours are 2:30 to 4 pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; it operates out of a room in the back of Studebaker School, 5954 Longford Road, Huber Heights OH. Faith Presbyterian Church is one of the leading contributors to this effort.

There are certain items (as suggested by the Food Bank) that are given out with every request for food, and are therefore always in demand. Some suggestions for charitable giving include:

• Canned meats - beef stew, tuna, chicken, ham, etc. These are particularly in demand
• Canned vegetables - green beans, peas, corn, mixed vegetables, etc
• Canned fruit - applesauce, peaches, pears, etc
• Cereal - any common boxed breakfast cereal
• Spaghetti sauce
• Spaghetti noodles and other pasta shapes
• Boxed potatoes (mashed flakes, Au Gratin, etic)
• Rice
• Peanut butter
• Canned ravioli, beefaroni, spaghetti-o's
• Macaroni and cheese
• Hamburger Helper
• Desserts
• Crackers
• Soap and toilet paper

They also accept personal care and household items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, feminine products, dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc. You may drop off any contributions in the cloak room at the church. Thank you for your generosity as we continue to support this effort.
