Blankets by Faith - We have not been meeting in person. We are still building these wonderful blankets. Having been blessed with blankets and supplies we were able to donate to ministries over Advent. We gave 20 warm blankets to homeless inner city Dayton.

Presbyterian Women -(Sep - May)
Bible study is the glue that holds Presbyterian Women together. We had just finished Love Carved in Stone: A Fresh Look at the Ten Commandments in May. This season during all the uncertainty we looked forward to moving together Into the Light: Finding Hope Through Prayers of Lament.
We long to study one of the foundational points of Into the Light that is, in scripture, lament usually leads to hope. After crying out to God, the one who laments remembers God. And while that doesn’t fix things in the moment—the injustice, the loss, the wrong still exist—the one who laments is strengthened to face the world and to hope.
When we lament, we move from suffering to faith. In our faith there is hope. We lament in order to hope. Recovering lament may be one of the church’s most timely gifts to the world. So we have not given up and yes we lament over the 2020 but we are waiting on blessing from the Lord for 2021! So stay tuned PW has not gone away we are waiting to see what is next.
PW/Horizons Bible studies are prepared quite literally by and for Presbyterian women. Our next meeting is November 12 at 1 PM with love for our sister's in Christ all are asked to wear either a mask or face shield. We are Physical Distancing while Socially, and Spiritually Connecting!
