Looking Forward

The first Sunday of Advent is November 28. Our Advent Study this year features the book, Keep Watch With Me: An Advent Reader for Peacemakers, a daily devotional featuring diverse contributors from many different countries and walks of life with stories, reflections, prayers and spiritual practices to sustain and challenge us. We will read one devotion a day and then meet on four Wednesdays (Dec. 1, 8, 15, 22) for discussion. In person or on Zoom, TBD.  If you would like a book ($10) please sign the sheet on the table by the door.

Hunger Action Congregation

There will be a workday for food distribution with the Foodbank on Dec. 8, 9:15A-10:30A at Living Word Church, 926 E. National Rd, Vandalia. If you would like to volunteer, please tell Mary Skare, or contact our office.

Winter weather conditions sometimes require us to cancel church & activities. Please Check  Channel 2 and Channel 7 for closures & cancelations information.
